Guests have access to amenities such as a well-furnished room and bathroom, with personal touches like horse food to feed the horses. The lodge is also conveniently located near a Chinese takeaway that delivers.

The signage and entrance to the lodge can be difficult to find, especially with the lack of a notice at the gap in the hedge. The steep and potholed slope leading to the parking area may pose a challenge for certain vehicles, and the steep and slippery hill to the lodge itself can be challenging for those with mobility issues.

The location was beautiful, offering exceptional views of the surrounding countryside. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the tranquility. The lodge itself was quirky and fantastically kitted out with everything I could possibly need. I loved being greeted by the horses each day and the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets were a highlight. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

The terrace was a nice spot to enjoy the view and the airport was conveniently far away. The holiday home had a garden and BBQ facilities, which were perfect for my stay. The private parking was a luxury.

I just loved trying to find the entrance in the hedge and navigating the potholed slope in my average family car. Such a thrill!

The bathroom was super clean and had a nice shower. It made me feel refreshed and ready for the day. As someone who loves a good hot shower, this bathroom was a real treat!

The only thing I didn't love was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The owners were incredibly responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed. We were so impressed that we immediately booked our next stay for next year!
